In partnership with Civil Air Patrol and The Spaatz Association, Daedalians invite all CAP cadets, and our organization members and friends to join us Wednesday, 21 January 2026 from 1530-1800 CT at Parr Officer’s Club on JBSA-Randolph, TX for stop #4 of the General Carl. A “Tooey” Spaatz Heritage Tour.

Join, exchange stories, and network with multiple generations of military aviators to learn abut the Spaatz Trophy and engage in fellowship, hear speeches, and interact with artifacts & archives pertinent to General Spaatz’s foundational contributions and legacy to American Airpower.

The San Antonio stop will highlight General Spaatz’s experiences with the 1st Pursuit Group at Kelly Field following his service in WW1 contributions as an active Founder Member of the Order of Daedalians, America’s Premier Fraternity of Military Aviators.

Please RSVP via Eventbrite to confirm attendance and base access needs NLT 12 January. Light refreshments provided. Daedalian green jackets are uniform of the day.

All flights, regardless of size and strength, are strongly encouraged to respond to our end-of-year flight operations check-in. Headquarters’ primary objective is to ensure all our flights meet pertinent legal filing and reporting requirements that come up EOY.

Additionally, we are seeking your feedback. In 2026, we are updating support procedures, our communications stack for flight leaders, and resource guides to our toolkit, including Salesforce.

The Order of Daedalians has partnered with a reputable third-party company, Publishing Concepts International, recently launching an Oral History Project. This effort compiles our member’s memories into a published book, available for sale, and helps us update our records. 

Participation is optional and will not affect your membership status. We welcome feedback of all stripes via email to communications@daedalians.org. If you require assistance, contact any staff member at 210-945-2111. The project will continue through Spring 2026.

To ensure the integrity of the election, only verified Daedalian members in good standing will have their votes counted. Please make sure your membership record is current before submitting your ballot.
