Aviators, industry converge at Cribbins symposium

Leaders from across the Army?s aviation enterprise gathered with key industry representatives to identify solutions for some of the most challenging sustainment issues facing today?s Army aviators during the 47th annual Cribbins Aviation Product Support Symposium Nov 20-21 at the Von Braun Center.

The theme for this year?s Army Aviation Association of America symposium was ?Sustainment of Army Aviation in Multi-Domain Operations.? The AAAA?s Tennessee Valley chapter hosted the event with help from Aviation and Missile Command, Program Executive Office for Aviation, Army Futures Command and industry partners.

AMCOM Commander Maj. Gen. Todd Royar highlighted some of the challenges facing AMCOM and the Army in an ever-changing and complex world during his address at the symposium.


Aviation, Missile Center partners with Germany to advance rotorcraft efforts

REDSTONE ARSENAL, Ala. (June 24, 2019) ? The U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command Aviation & Missile Center?s Aviation Development Directorate is one of five primary investigators on the U.S. German Project Agreement on Advanced Technologies for Rotorcraft.

In place since 1979, the project agreement is a cooperative research arrangement between the United States and Germany. Primary investigators conduct collaborative research on their respective tasks and meet twice a year, once in Germany and once in the US.


Army aviation professionals share lessons learned

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas ? Amidst the cooling weather by the bay, the Army Aviation Association of America hosted the 14th Luther G. Jones Army Aviation Depot Forum at the Solomon P. Ortiz International Center, Corpus Christi, Oct. 24-25.

Hundreds of aviation professionals, national and local officials, military members, industry leaders, retirees and enthusiasts, were on hand to network, and enhance awareness and efficiencies in the field of Army aviation and maintenance.

The forum, named after the former Corpus Christi commander and Corpus Christi mayor, entertained dozens of speakers, panel members and sponsor booths, all focused on this year?s theme ?CCAD: The Cornerstone of Aviation Readiness.?
