LEGACY PROGRAM

The Order of Daedalians was formed to honor our Founding Members who flew in defense of our nation. Our membership reflects the honor and pride of our country's military aviators who risked everything to defend this nation. The Legacy Program allows donations from endowments to continue scholarships and Cadet Flight Indoctrination Program which carries that same great history.

Members remember the oganization in their final documents and dedicate proceeds for the promotion of flight safety and the development of military pilots. Please consider leaving a portion of your estate with the Daedalian Foundation as a way to make dreams a reality for someone else.

EAGLE WING

The Daedalian Foundation is the fund raising arm of the Order of Daedalians. The largest campaign to raise funds to assist students in pursuing a military career is the Eagle Wing Program.

An incentive-based program, Eagle Wing has several levels of membership based on the amount of donation. The levels are Pilot, $100+; Element Leader, $250+; Flight Leader, $500+; Squadron Commander, $750+; and Wing Commander, $1,000 and Wing Commander Exemplar, 1001+. Donations are made in increments of $100 or more and donors will receive a Daedalian Eaglewing lapel pin and be recognized in the Daedalus Flyer at each level of giving.

TEX HILL - LES LEAVOY CADET FLIGHT INDOCTRINATION PROGRAM (CFIP)

The Tex Hill Cadet Flight Indoctrination Program is also funded by members and others interested in supporting young people who are interested in learning to fly. CFIP is conducted by a four way partnership of the Foundation, Flights, selected candidates and a selected FAA - certified Flight Training Facility/Fixed Base Operator. The Foundation and local Daedalian Flights jointly fund the formal ground and flight training necessary to achieve a successful solo flight. This opportunity is made possible by generous donations made to the Tex Hill, Les Leavoy and CFIP programs. COMBINED FEDERAL CAMPAIGN

The Combined Federal Campaign organization provides the Daedalian Foundation with funds for scholarships and training to encourage young people towards a military flying career and supports improved methods of flight and flight safety. Donations can be made directly to the Foundation or if you chose to particpate in the United Way giving program, you may chose to dedicate a portion or all of your funds to go to the Daedalian Foundation. The Daedalian CFC # is 11457.

IN MEMORIUM

As a special breed of military officers, Daedalians were and are aviators with a vision. With respect to an industry that has protected our county in time of war, memorials are one way we can honor those that have taken their last flight.
